Marte Kristoffersen

Marte Kristoffersen has extensive experience in the mineral industry, currently serving as Seksjonsleder for both mineralutvinning and mineralforvaltning og miljøhensyn at DIREKTORATET FOR MINERALFORVALTNING MED BERGMESTEREN FOR SVALBARD since March 2014. Prior to this role, Marte held the position of Senior Engineer at the Directorate of Mining with Commissioner of Mines at Svalbard from October 2009 to March 2014. From February 2005 to September 2009, Marte worked as a Process Engineer in mineral processing at Omya Hustadmarmor. Earlier experience includes serving as Laboratory Manager at North Cape Minerals AS from January 1997 to February 2005 and a summer position at Nikkel & Olivin AS in 1995. Marte holds a degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), obtained between 1992 and 1997.
