Arne Magnus Tveita Løken

Arne Magnus Tveita Løken is currently a Seniorrådgiver at Direktoratet for forvaltning og økonomistyring, a position held since November 2024, focusing on bridging data structures with significant societal purposes. Previously, Løken worked as a Scientist at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI from August 2018 to November 2024, primarily concentrating on the development of laser sources through both experimental and theoretical approaches. Earlier experience includes a role as a Sesongvikar at Posten Norge AS from June 2011 to March 2018, where tasks involved registering and assessing import and export shipments according to Norwegian customs regulations. Løken also gained valuable experience at FFI as a Sommerstudent and a Vitenskapelig assistent in 2016 and 2017, participating in outdoor electro-optical measurement campaigns and analyzing thermal and multispectral imagery. Løken holds a Master's degree in Physics and Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), earned between 2013 and 2018.
