Berit Isaksen

Berit Isaksen is an experienced professional with a robust background in legal and advisory roles, currently serving as Seksjonssjef at Direktoratet for samfunnssikkerhet og beredskap (DSB) since March 2017. Previously, Berit held positions at Direktoratet for nødkommunikasjon, including Seniorrådgiver since April 2006, and Head of legal section from May 2013 to March 2017. Additional experience includes serving as a senior advisor at Post- og teletilsynet from December 2000 to April 2006, and as a Senior Legal Advisor at Forbrukerombudet from July 1994 to December 2000. Berit began their career as an executive officer at the Consumer Council from 1993 to 1994. Berit Isaksen earned a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Oslo between 1986 and 1992.
