Hans Petter Naper

Hans Petter Naper holds extensive experience in telecommunications and public safety communications. Currently, Naper serves as the Task Force Chair at TCCA-Critical Communications, leading efforts to establish callout standards for broadband public safety networks. Previously, as Chief Engineer at the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (DSB) and its predecessor, DNK, Naper was instrumental in the development and maintenance of Norway's TETRA-based Nødnett network. Naper's career includes significant roles at various notable organizations such as Motorola, Telenor Group, and Ericsson, contributing to the standardization of UMTS and GPRS technologies, and telecommunications project management. Naper holds a Master of Science degree in Electronics and Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
