Sebastian Wentzel

Sebastian Wentzel is a seasoned professional in societal security and law enforcement, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Direktoratet for samfunnssikkerhet og beredskap (DSB) since January 2021 and an Examiner at Politihøgskolen since August 2022. Previously, Wentzel held the position of Police Chief Inspector at Sør-Øst politidistrikt from June 2013 to January 2021 and Consultant at Oslo politidistrikt from January 2012 to June 2013. Wentzel’s early career included roles as a Correctional Officer at Kriminalomsorgen and a Corporal in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Societal Security & Terrorism Studies from Nord University and a Bachelor's degree in both Crisis Management from Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences and Police Science from Politihøgskolen.
