Tomy Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Tomy currently holds the position of Vice President - Institutional ETF Strategy at Direxion, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they were an Investment Consultant at Global X ETFs from November 2021 to November 2022. From October 2017 to November 2021, they worked as a Senior Internal Wholesaler at Lincoln Financial Distributors. Tomy also had a consulting role at Ascensus from February 2017 to September 2017. Their career in the financial industry started as a Registered Representative at Merrill Lynch, where they worked from May 2015 to January 2017.
Tomy Nguyen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Rutgers University - New Brunswick. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Tomy acquired the Series 7 certification from FINRA in December 2015, followed by the FINRA Series 63 certification in January 2016. Tomy also completed the SIE - Securities Industry Essentials Examination offered by FINRA in October 2018. Moreover, Tomy became a Certified ETF Advisor (CETF®) through The ETF Institute® in December 2021. Their most recent certification is the Series 3, obtained from the National Futures Association in August 2023.
