Sarah Holland Bacot

Equal Justice Works Disaster Resilience Fellow at Disability Rights Louisiana

Sarah Holland Bacot currently serves as an Equal Justice Works Disaster Resilience Fellow at Disability Rights Louisiana, a position held since January 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Williams & Connolly LLP from November 2019 to December 2021 and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States Courts from August 2018 to August 2019. Additionally, Sarah held the role of Research Projects Coordinator at Church Health Center, facilitating research and contributing to healthcare training development from September 2014 to June 2015. As a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, Sarah spent a year conducting research on queer identity across multiple countries, and prior to that, worked as a Spence L. Wilson Fellow and Rhodes LGBT Community Development Fellow at Rhodes College, focusing on community engagement and resource development for the LGBT community. Sarah holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Gender and Sexuality Studies from Rhodes College.
