Lisa Grafstein currently serves as a member of the North Carolina Senate representing District 13 in Wake County since January 2022. Grafstein has extensive legal experience, having worked with Disability Rights North Carolina since August 2011 in various roles, including Litigation Counsel, Legal Director, and Supervising Attorney. Prior to that, Grafstein operated the Law Office of Lisa Grafstein, PLLC from 2007 to 2011, focusing on employment law and mediation. Grafstein also practiced as an attorney at Grafstein & Walczyk, P.L.L.C. from 1995 to 2007. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law (1992-1995) and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northwestern University (1984-1988).
