José Manuel Otero

José Manuel Otero is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in financial management and corporate leadership. Currently serving as the Managing Director and CEO at DISASHOP since October 2009, Otero has held various significant positions in the financial sector, including Financial Manager (CFO) at Lia Oil and Financial Project Manager at Fondo Promoción Empleo. Earlier in their career, Otero was the Managing Director of Forestal del Atlántico and worked as a Controller at Arthur Andersen & Co. Otero holds a degree in Ciencias Empresariales from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and furthered education at Harvard Business School and Escuela Naval Militar, where Otero earned the title of Alferez Fragata.
