Oresti Rakkas

Oresti Rakkas is an experienced professional with a diverse background in emergency services, communications, and leadership. Currently serving as the Podcast Producer for Priority Zero Podcast since June 2023, Oresti focuses on sharing the stories of First Responders and community members. Oresti has held multiple roles at St John Ambulance NT since January 2018, including Communications Supervisor, Territory Youth Lead, and Emergency Medical Dispatcher, showcasing a strong commitment to volunteerism and training. Additionally, Oresti contributes to Disaster Relief Australia as a Volunteer and Public Relations Officer. Previous experience includes owning Darwin Detector Hire and instructing cadets at Australian Air Force Cadets. Oresti's education includes various certifications in emergency medical dispatch, training and assessment, and resilience mentoring.
