Melissa Culross

Melissa Culross is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Public Relations Officer for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) since January 2023, where responsibilities include hosting and producing the agency's podcast, Taken with Transportation. Prior to joining SFMTA, Culross spent nearly two decades at Audacy, Inc. as a reporter and anchor for KCBS Radio, crafting engaging stories through interviews and research. Additional experience includes writing a monthly lifestyle column for Northside San Francisco, serving as air talent for iHeartRadio and CBS Radio, and being a key player in the original on-air lineup for Alice@97.3. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from Brown University and has studied at the University of Glasgow.
