Steve Anichini

CTO and Co-founder at Disbelief

Steve Anichini has worked in the software engineering industry since 1994. Steve began their career as a Programmer Intern at Microsoft in 1994 and 1995, working in the OLE Component Object Model and Microsoft Team Manager groups. In 1996, they were a Programmer Intern at Trilogy, where they added major new functionality to Trilogy's SalesBuilder Configuration technology. Steve then moved to Visual Interface, Inc. in 1997, where they were the Lead Programmer and designed and implemented a tool for viewing and manipulating captured 3D data. From 1999 to 2001, they were a Software Development Manager and Software Engineer at Jellyvision, where they managed a group of 10 programmers and did R&D on new rendering techniques. From 2001 to 2009, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Midway Games, where they were the Graphics Lead on a cancelled unannounced 360 and PS3 title and Systems Lead on John Woo Presents Stranglehold. Finally, since 2014, they have been the CTO and Co-founder of Disbelief.

Steve Anichini attended the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy from 1990 to 1993 and earned their high school diploma. Steve then attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1993 to 1997 and earned a B.S. in Math/Computer Science.
