Mélanie HACHET

Mélanie HACHET has over 8 years of work experience in the bioinformatics field. Mélanie began their career in 2012 as a Trainee at the Institut Pasteur, where they worked on bioinformatics for genomic analysis. Mélanie then moved to INRA Versailles as a Bioinformatics Engineer, where they worked on RNA-Seq data analysis to characterize “RNase Three Like 2” (RTL2) role in epigenetic regulation of small RNAs on Arabidopsis thaliana. In 2014, they moved to the National Museum of Natural History as a Bioinformatics Engineer, where they developed a workflow to clean open biodiversity data using Java JEE, REST, mySQL, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. In 2016, they moved to Columbia University Medical Center as a Data Analyst in Bioinformatics. Finally, in 2017, they began working as a Scientific Project Manager at Discngine.

Mélanie HACHET obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from CY Cergy Paris Université between 2009 and 2010. Mélanie then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2010 and 2012.
