Angela Chien

Angela Chien is the Senior Director of Legal at Discord. Angela previously worked as Senior Counsel at Google from May 2008 to November 2016. At Google, Angela worked on a variety of projects, including experimental hardware and research, Glass, smart contact lens, and baseline human clinical trials. Angela also provided product and commercial counsel support to various teams, managed outside counsel, and interviewed candidates to grow the legal team. Prior to their work at Google, Angela was Corporate Counsel at an unnamed company. Angela is licensed to practice law in New York.

Angela Chien has a J.D. from Columbia Law School and an A.B. cum laude in Economics and East Asian Studies from Harvard University.
