Heather Torres currently serves as the Head of People Analytics, Technology & Operations at Discord, leading the "Popstars" team that integrates people operations, technology, and analytics to enhance the employee experience. Previously, Heather held the position of Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Lyft, overseeing a team of over 150 recruiters during a major organizational restructuring, and led the People Analytics, Technology & Strategy division at Lyft. In an earlier role at Facebook, Heather was instrumental in establishing the first Recruiting & People Analytics team. Additional experience includes senior roles at AOL, consulting at Infohrm, volunteer work for the Capital Area Food Bank, and various positions at Capital One and First USA Bank. Heather holds a BA in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.
