Parris Khachi

Parris Khachi is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Discord since June 2020. Prior to this role, Parris co-founded Forj, Inc., where the mission focused on the development of interactive content and the creation of two innovative products. Parris has also held significant positions such as Director of Engineering at Brigade and various roles at Eventbrite, including Product Manager and Senior Software Engineer. Earlier experience includes a Web Application Specialist role at NetApp, where Parris contributed to educational software development, and founding a web development company, Parris Studios, which produced over 50 websites. Parris began professional involvement with technology as a Microsoft Student Partner, promoting Microsoft products on campus, and served as a part-time web master at Blue Sky Research. Education was completed at San Jose State University with a BS in Computer Science.
