Sarasota Proffitt

Sarasota Proffitt is a seasoned professional in product design and strategy, currently serving as the Director of Product Design at Discord since February 2024. Prior to this role, Sarasota held various positions at Instrument from October 2019 to February 2024, including Strategy Director and Associate Strategy Director, where leadership was provided to a team of strategists focused on brand and user experience across diverse industries. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Experience Designer and Experience Designer at INDUSTRY (PDX) from August 2017 to August 2019, as well as Industrial Designer for clients such as Fossil, Movado, and Gilmore Group from January 2014 to August 2017. Sarasota earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati.
