John Racer

John Racer is a seasoned analytics technology professional with extensive experience in database design, development, and business intelligence. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Analytics Technology at Discount Tire since June 2010, John has held multiple roles within the company, including Director of Analytics Technology and Data Architect. Responsibilities have included leading database design efforts, creating data mapping documentation, and developing automated deployment processes. Prior to Discount Tire, John worked at Cox Communications managing SQL Server installations and designing Business Intelligence systems, and at Discover Card as a Technical Support Specialist involved in developing intranet sites and reporting applications. John holds an MBA and a BS in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
