Adam Rusch

Adam Rusch has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Adam started their career as an ATM Technician Assistant at NCR Corporation in 2003, where they were responsible for delivering parts and retrofitting ATMs. In 2004, they worked as an Engineering Intern at CalPump, where they fabricated a plant watering prototype and conducted time studies to increase productivity.

From 2005 to 2010, Rusch worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Science Applications International Corporation, specializing in designing and developing hardware for training systems for the military. Adam utilized Solidworks to design parts and assemblies that could withstand environmental testing.

In 2010, Rusch joined Cobham Sensor Systems as a Mechanical Engineer II, providing sustaining engineering support for microwave electronics used in airborne defense applications. Adam also played a key role in achieving record-breaking shipments.

Rusch transitioned to Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions in 2014, initially working as a Mechanical Engineer III. Adam'sresponsibility expanded to become the Mechanical Engineering lead for the Frequency Synthesizer module, a project developed under a Navy contract worth $385M.

Since 2014, Rusch has been with Discover Echo Inc., where they have held several roles. Beginning as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, they designed and developed a hybrid microscope for a precision micro-optics startup company.

Later, Rusch served as the Director of Manufacturing before assuming their current position as the Vice President of Manufacturing. In their current role, they oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality production and meeting budget and schedule requirements.

Adam Rusch attended UC San Diego from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2016, they also received a certificate in Brewing from UC San Diego Extension. Furthermore, in 2006, Adam obtained the Engineer in Training certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
