Alexey Miroshnikov

Alexey Miroshnikov, PhD, serves as a Senior Principal Research Scientist and ML Researcher at Discover Financial Services, focusing on the Data Science Research Group and Responsible AI. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at UCLA, Postdoctoral Research Associate and Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and as a Michael Brin Fellow at the University of Maryland College Park. Alexey Miroshnikov also held the position of Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH). Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland (2006-2012) and an M.S. in Mathematics from Virginia Tech (2002-2004).
