Russell Lessard

Russell Lessard is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Cantaloupe Inc since June 2023, Russell has held several key positions including Senior Counsel and Director of Payments at Discover Financial Services, and prior roles at PULSE and Vacek, Thain & Lessard, PLLC. With a solid foundation in compliance management developed at companies such as Sanders Morris Harris and Gulf States Financial Services Group, Russell has consistently demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, legal advisory, and operational management. Russell holds a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston, an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Houston.
