Andrea Peters has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Andrea began their career as a Club Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where they worked from September 2004 to June 2007. After that, they joined Emirates as a Cabin Crew member from July 2007 to March 2008. Andrea then worked as a Receptionist at DHL Express from July 2008 to April 2011.
In 2011, Andrea joined DHL eCommerce as an Administrative Officer and held that position until May 2016. During their time at DHL eCommerce, they also worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO from June 2016 to December 2018, and later became an Executive Assistant to the CFO and Vice President of Operations and IT, Asia Pacific from January 2019 to August 2019.
From September 2019 to May 2021, Andrea worked as an Administrative Assistant at Nicoll Curtin @ Facebook. Most recently, they joined discovermarket in January 2023 as the Head of Corporate Development at Discovermarket Asia Pte. Ltd.
Throughout their career, Andrea has gained experience in administrative support, executive assistance, and customer service roles.
Andrea Peters completed their Bachelor of Business in International Tourism degree from James Cook University Singapore from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Tourism Management from Temasek Polytechnic between 2000 and 2003.
In addition to their formal education, Andrea has also obtained several certifications. Andrea received a Certificate of Achievement in HR Policies and Procedures from SNEF Training Institute, Singapore in 2013. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate of Attendance for The Employment Act & Its Practical Applications Workshop from HRSINGAPORE, a Certificate of Completion in Certified HR Administrator (CHRA) also from HRSINGAPORE, and a First Choice Master Bronze certification for Continuous Improvement from DHL.
