Alexa Jawlakian

Alexa Jawlakian, M.S., LMFT has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. Alexa started their career as a Licensed Clinical Therapist at Hope for Healing, Inc. from August 2014 to October 2016. Alexa then became the Clinical Director at NuLife Addiction Treatment of Los Angeles, where they provided therapy for adult clients and trained the clinical staff from October 2014 to March 2017. After that, they worked as a Utilization Review Manager at Cliffside Malibu, where they determined client medical necessity for insurance claims and conducted chart reviews. Currently, they are the Vice President of Operations at Discovery Behavioral Health, overseeing staff operations and ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Throughout their career, Alexa has demonstrated strong leadership and clinical expertise in the mental health field.

Alexa Jawlakian, M.S., LMFT obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara from 2009 to 2011. Alexa then pursued their Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at California State University, Northridge from 2011 to 2014.
