Derek Stutts

Derek Stutts is an experienced engineer currently working at Discovery Education since September 2020. Previous roles include software engineer and performance manager at Red Ventures from August 2015 to September 2020, where Derek was responsible for exceeding sales performance and compliance standards, and developed strategic sales innovations to enhance sales agent effectiveness. As an insurance professional, Derek achieved the Master Sales Agent rank at MetLife, receiving multiple awards including Culture Champion and Top Sophomore, and ranked as the top salesperson ("Agent Zero") in the final month of that role. Earlier in the career, Derek was an outside sales representative at Florida Tile, Inc. from May 2011 to October 2014. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in Finance from North Carolina State University, completed in 2009.
