Jim Brocato

Jim Brocato is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and technology management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Discovery Education and DreamBox Learning, Jim has previously held key positions as Vice President of Enterprise Engineering at West Cary Group and Director of Engineering at Capital One, where innovative software solutions were developed for commercial banking. Jim's background also includes roles as Senior Manager of Information Technology at CapTech and Managing Consultant at TCSC, beginning with an engineering position at IT Cadre and a military career as a Captain in the US Army. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
