Peter Fowler has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Peter began their career as a High School Teacher at Evangel Christian High School, where they taught Social Studies classes and collaborated with a team of teachers to develop curriculum. Peter then worked as a Team Leader at Littleton Younglife, leading a team of adult leaders and facilitating discussions with adolescent males on various topics. At the National Institute for Change, Peter served as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, counseling individuals and groups on substance abuse and domestic violence. Peter co-led psychoeducation and process-oriented domestic violence offender groups. Peter also worked as a Program Director at Northern Frontier Camp, where they directed the adolescent age program, developed camp curriculum, and managed staff. Prior to that, they were a Primary Therapist at Discovery Behavioral Health. Most recently, Peter held roles at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program, including Executive Program Director, Program Director, and Director of Education. In these roles, they oversaw the implementation of academic programming, provided support and direction to staff, and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to academic resources.
Peter Fowler completed their education at Denver Seminary from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to that, they attended Messiah University from 2003 to 2007, majoring in Education with a focus on History Education. Additionally, Peter obtained a certification as a Board Certified Advocate in Special Education from the National Association for Special Education Teachers in March 2023.
