Dr. Jan Deepen

Dr. Jan Deepen is the Founding Partner at Discovery Ventures, an angel fund supporting technology entrepreneurs at pre-seed and seed stages. He is also an Investor at Deel and serves as EVP M&A and Corporate Development. Dr. Deepen is the Co-Founder and CEO of Zeitgold, a company that simplifies financial management for small businesses. Additionally, he is a Co-Founder at SumUp and has invested in several other companies such as Trade Republic, Navan, Verbit.ai, Choco, Getir, and flaschenpost SE. Dr. Deepen holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and a Master's in Business Administration and Economics from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
