Arunima Sharma has been working in the market research domain since 2005. Arunima started their career as a Territory Sales Leader at American Express India Pvt. Ltd. in 2005. In 2006, they joined Evalueserve.com Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Market Research Analyst, where they were responsible for responding to client proposals, defining scope of projects, and engaging with clients. Arunima also led teams of 15-20 analysts and was awarded as Quality Champion five times in their career. In 2007, they joined SAP Labs India Pvt. Ltd. as a Market Research Associate and was later promoted to Senior Research Associate. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Gerson Lehrman Group as a Senior Analyst - Consumer Goods & Services, where they provided sector-based expertise to clients in Europe and South East Asia. Arunima also led research for industries including auto and auto ancillary, FMCG, consumer durables, retail, supermarkets, consumer electronics, QSR, hospitality, leisure & lodging, etc. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Language Trainer at GET Global Group. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Discuss.io.

Arunima Sharma has an extensive educational background. Arunima completed their Secondary education from Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1993-1999, where they studied General. From 1998-1999, they obtained their B.S.E in Social Science from Secondary, with a focus in English and Science. From 2000-2001, they obtained their Degree/Diploma; B.B.A from Amity Business School; B.S.E from Higher Secondary in Noida. Lastly, from 2004-2006, they obtained their PGDBM from Amity Business School, with a focus in Marketing and HRM. Additionally, they have obtained three certifications, including a Specialization in Qualitative Research from the University of California, Davis in 2022, ECA from World Education Services in 2019, and PGDBM in an unlisted institution.
