Prashant Purushothaman

Prashant Purushothaman is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in media and entertainment technology. Currently serving as Vice President IT at Star India since December 2016, Prashant has previously held strategic roles, including Program Director at MindTree Ltd. and Senior Manager at ITC Infotech, where the focus was on media-centric solutions and digital transformation. Earlier professional experiences include positions at Ness Technologies and Sony Entertainment Television, where Prashant contributed to media contract management and broadcast system analysis, respectively. Prashant's career began as a Senior Oracle Programmer/DBA at Octopus-E Systems Pvt Ltd. Prashant holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Nagpur University.
