Marco De Ruiter

Marco de Ruiter is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the media and sports industries. Currently serving as Country Manager for the Benelux region at The Walt Disney Company since April 2019, Marco leads multiple media platforms including Disney+ and ESPN. Marco is also a board member of the Stichting Bio Kinderrevalidatie, providing support for families of children with physical and developmental challenges. As the owner of Dreamers-of-the-Day, a personal investment and consulting firm, Marco focuses on innovative technology in the digital and healthy living sectors. Previous roles include Managing Director for Fox Networks Group in Benelux and Germany, Chief Operating Officer at Viacom International Media Networks Northern Europe, and co-founder of XpertBuyer. Marco holds degrees from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and is a graduate of the INSEAD CTAM Europe Executive Program.
