Erika Echavarria

Erika Echavarria is an accomplished professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Asset Management at Dispatch, where they focus on utility-scale battery energy storage systems. With over 20 years of experience, they previously held key roles at Shell, including Operations Implementation Manager, leading the strategy for one of the first large-scale commercial floating wind projects. Erika also managed IKEA's renewable energy portfolio across several European countries, supported wind energy project development at GREEN WIND Corp, and contributed to research on wind turbine reliability at DNV GL. They hold a PhD in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Serviceability from Technische Universiteit Delft and a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University.
