Nathan Scherer

Nathan Scherer is a skilled physician with extensive experience in emergency medicine and home health care. Currently serving as a physician at DispatchHealth since February 2021, Nathan supports the organization's mission to provide hospital-level care at home and has held multiple leadership roles, including local medical director and lab director. Prior experience includes serving as an emergency medicine partner physician at US Acute Care Solutions since September 2015 and as a peer review chair at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital from May 2019 to May 2021. Nathan began his medical career as an emergency medicine physician at EPPH from August 2011 to September 2015 and completed a residency in emergency medicine at Indiana University Health, where Nathan was also appointed chief resident. Nathan holds a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from A.T. Still University and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
