Alexander Bajorek

Medical Director, Inpatient Rehab at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System

Alexander Bajorek has a strong background in the healthcare industry. Alexander started their career at the University of Louisville School of Medicine as a Medical Intern from 2013 to 2014. Alexander then moved on to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where they worked as a Resident Physician from 2014 to 2017 and later became the Chief Resident from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, Alexander Bajorek joined the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, initially as an Attending Physician and later as the Medical Director for Inpatient Rehab. Currently, they are working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the FSU Internal Medicine Residency Program, starting from 2021.

Alexander Bajorek has a Master's degree in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from the University of Louisville. Alexander also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, both from the University of Louisville.
