Chris Facer

Chris Facer's work experience starts in 2005 as a Laboratory Assistant at Macquarie University, where they worked in a semiconductor research laboratory, preparing and growing semiconductor materials, performing spectroscopic analysis, and maintaining equipment. In 2006, they also served as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the same institution. From 2007 to 2013, Chris was a PhD student at Macquarie University. In 2010, they joined Displayr as a Research Scientist and held that position until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Head of User Experience and Support at Displayr. From 2017 to 2019, Chris served as the Head of Customer Success at Displayr, and from 2019 until now, they have been working as a Solutions Specialist at the same company. Recently, in July 2021, Chris Facer assumed the role of Team Lead at Displayr.

Chris Facer attended Macquarie University from 2003 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Physics. Chris further pursued their education at the same institution from 2006 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Physics. Later, they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Physics at Macquarie University, which they completed from 2007 to 2014.
