Cristovao Barreto

Cristovao Barreto is a Senior Test Engineer at Distalmotion since May 2024, bringing extensive experience in the engineering field. Previously, Cristovao served as a Control System Engineer at Advanced Oncotherapy plc from January 2019 to October 2023 and worked as an Electrical Engineer at CERN from January 2014 to December 2018, focusing on measurement, testing, and analysis for particle accelerator components. Academic contributions include teaching renewable energies, energy management, industrial automation, and power electronics at the University of Madeira from 2011 to 2012. Cristovao began a career in engineering as an intern at Canon in 2010 within the Global Information Systems Division. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Polytechnic of Leiria.
