Ivan Haro Escudero

Ivan Haro Escudero has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ivan started their career at Marelli in 2015, where they were responsible for electrical and software improvements on the production line. Ivan also worked as a CPM & FEM process engineer on-site, where they oversaw the assembly process of the Cockpit Module and Front End Module for projects with Nissan, Renault, and Mercedes.

In 2017, Ivan joined Nissan Motor Corporation as an Electrics & Electronics Test Coordinator. Their responsibilities included coordinating and supervising tests, analyzing results, and creating test sheets. Ivan also had an understanding of technical regulations.

From 2018 to 2019, Ivan worked at FICOSA as an ADAS System Test Lead and Product Lead. Ivan focused on developing a Surround View System for a top automotive company. Their tasks involved utilizing various engineering tools like Vtest Studio, CANoe, SCALEXIO, Matlab, and Python, ensuring compliance with automotive SPICE 3 and ISO 16505.

In 2019, Ivan joined Distalmotion as a Software Validation & Verification Engineer for the Dexter surgical platform. Ivan later became the Head of Systems, Integration and Verification Testing, where they oversaw system-level activities, risk management, regulatory submissions, product compliance, and more. In their most recent role as Head of Systems Engineering, Ivan was responsible for leading and managing a wide range of system-level activities for the Dexter surgical platform, including risk management, design outputs, usability, regulatory submissions, and configuration management.

Overall, Ivan Haro Escudero has extensive experience in systems engineering, integration and verification testing, software validation and verification, and test coordination in the automotive and medical device industries.

Ivan Haro Escudero obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed high school at Col·legi Sant Ermengol with a focus on Technologic from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Ivan has obtained several certifications related to risk management, software development, safety, functional safety, unit testing, and quality management systems from various institutions such as Medical Device HQ, ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, VECTOR Informatik, and ARIAQ - Institut de formation et conseil en management de la performance.
