Alexander Ryan

Alexander Ryan is an experienced designer and partner at Distill since September 2008, contributing to the creation of products and brands with a focus on human-centered design and advanced technology. At PoolTogether Inc. from November 2022 to October 2024, Alexander served as Product Lead, driving product, design, and marketing efforts to expand the PoolTogether protocol across six blockchains and achieve $20 million in deposits within 12 months. Previously, as a Senior Product Designer at PoolTogether, significant contributions included the redesign of the product to align with open-source and decentralized principles, as well as enhancing the brand's online presence. Alexander also held a fellowship at On Deck and served as a Core Contributor in Product and Design at Coordinape, where early-stage product design and team leadership were instrumental in developing tools for digitally-focused organizations. Academic credentials include a BFA in Wood/Furniture Design from California College of the Arts.
