Tim S.

Tim S. is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Distill, focusing on people and company search initiatives. Prior to this role, Tim explored startup ideas at DraftMailDataCat, LLC, and co-founded Tandem, a virtual office platform for distributed teams backed by Y Combinator. Tim's extensive experience includes directing engineering teams at Yahoo, where innovations in search and conversational assistance were developed, and co-founding Astrid, a collaborative task manager that gained over 5 million users. Additionally, Tim has held software engineering roles at Palantir Technologies and worked as an undergraduate research assistant at Stanford University, where a variety of embedded device projects were undertaken. Tim holds both a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and participated in Y Combinator’s S19 cohort.
