Hugh O'Donogue

Hugh O'Donoghue is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the CTO of Distilled since August 2023. Previously, O'Donoghue held the position of Director of Engineering at Shopify from November 2021 to July 2023 and served as Chief Technology Officer at Smartbox Group from July 2019 to November 2021. O'Donoghue's extensive experience includes a tenure as CTO at Ding.com, where Ding became the largest international top-up platform, and as VP of Engineering for XIAM Technologies, a Qualcomm company, focusing on advanced recommendation systems and machine learning. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at FISC/National Australia Bank, Software Engineer at the Chicago Board of Trade, and Cap Gemini. O'Donoghue holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Limerick.
