Becky Sowemimo

Becky Sowemimo has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Becky'smost recent position is the Director of Events at the Distillery of Modern Art, where they oversee all event operations in a unique art gallery, cocktail lounge, and event space. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Director at 18Doors, where they managed logistics for over 30 events and increased the number of programs offered. Becky also served as the Interim Events Manager at Emory Libraries and Information Technology (LITS), where they managed logistics for 16 events and ran the Emory tent at the Decatur Book Festival. Becky has experience in event management and coordination at various organizations, including the Emory Alumni Association and the Donna and Marvin Schwartz Center for Performing Arts. Throughout their career, Becky has demonstrated strong skills in managing logistics, coordinating volunteers, and budgeting for events.

Becky Sowemimo holds a BA degree in Music from Emory University.
