Zuriel Tejeda

Zuriel Tejeda has comprehensive experience in QA Automation Engineering. Zuriel started working in 2013 as an Engineering Leader at WDA, where their responsibilities included automation development, quality assurance, inspection, and analysis of components and assemblies. In 2016, they joined IMESIS as a QA Automation Engineer, focusing on developing test automation solutions using Java TestNG framework and implementing UI automation with Selenium. Zuriel also worked on Rest API automation using RestAssured. In 2020, Zuriel joined Improving as a QA Automation Engineer, where they developed test automation solutions using C# with Selenium, RestSharp, and SpecFlow. Zuriel utilized BDD and Page Object Model architectures and implemented CI & CD using Git and Bitbucket. Currently, Zuriel is an SDET - Sr QA Automation Engineer at Distillery, where they serve as the country technical leader. Zuriel is proficient in Fullstack test automation solution development in Java Spring - TestNG framework and UI automation using Selenium - POM.

Zuriel Tejeda completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Artificial Intelligence at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2023 to 2024. Prior to obtaining the MEng degree, Zuriel also completed a degree in Ingeniería en mecatrónica (Mechatronics Engineering) at the same institution. In addition to their formal education, Zuriel has acquired several certifications, including being an ISTQB® Certified Tester - Test Automation Engineer obtained in February 2021, an ISTQB-CTFL obtained in December 2020, and a SCRUM-SFPC obtained in November 2020.
