Lindsey Girard

Lindsey Girard currently serves as the Managing Director of Operations at Distinctive Schools, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Lindsey held multiple leadership roles at Chicago International Charter School, including Managing Director of School Operations and Executive Director for K5 CICS Loomis Longwood from July 2019 to July 2023. As a co-founder and Executive Director of K-5 at Empowered Community Schools from July 2018 to July 2019, Lindsey played a significant role in establishing educational frameworks. Previous experience includes serving as Principal at CICS Loomis with Charter Schools USA from July 2012 to June 2018 and Assistant Principal at CICS Loomis for Edison Learning from July 2008 to June 2012. Early in Lindsey's career, positions included Primary Team Leader at CICS Washington Park Campus from July 2003 to June 2008. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Reading, Learning, and Specialized Instruction from DePaul University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Marquette University.
