James Sellers

James Sellers, CPP, CFE, currently serves as HSSE & Facility Management at Distinguished Real Estate since March 2023. As the President/CEO of Accion Security Consulting, LLC, since February 2008, James oversees a comprehensive security company that delivers diverse services, including event security, private investigations, and international officer training. James volunteers with ASIS International as a Security Services Council Member and Chair of the Publications Review Committee. Previous roles include Technical Advisor for Industrial Security and Fire Safety at International Maritime Industries, Director of Sales and Marketing for various regions at Gibraltar US, and Security Technical Advisor for Sadara Chemical Company. James also has a notable tenure with the Atlanta Police Department, where a rank of Major was achieved. Academically, James holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Sociology from Saint Leo University.
