Shayan Aziznejad

Shayan Aziznejad is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Distran since February 2025, focusing on the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models in ultrasound imaging. Previously, Shayan worked as a Staff Engineer in ML Certification at Daedalean AI from October 2022 to December 2024, where responsibilities included certifying deep neural networks, improving ML models with statistical methods and big data analyses, and mentoring engineers. Before that, Shayan was a Machine Learning Researcher at EPFL from August 2017 to October 2022, engaging in nonparametric optimization, creating novel PyTorch modules, supervising Master’s students, and publishing 17 journal articles. Shayan also holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from EPFL and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology.
