Rinad Al Adani currently serves as a Contact Centre Coordinator and Community Resource Specialist at Distress Centre Calgary since May 2023, where responsibilities include consulting with volunteers and coordinating safety follow-up calls for high-risk contacts. Simultaneously, Rinad co-chairs the Anti-Racism Action Committee for the City of Calgary, focusing on the development of community-based anti-racism strategies and engaging with stakeholders. Prior experience includes roles as a Child Development Specialist and Community and Social Services Worker at BSF Heart Home Network from June 2022 to May 2023, and as a Medical Tester at Equity Health Services in early 2022. Rinad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Calgary and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work with a focus on Clinical/Medical Social Work from the same institution.
