Shania Kelly

Shania Kelly is an experienced data visualization and analytics specialist currently working at Distress Centre Calgary since February 2016, where responsibilities include enhancing data accessibility, applying systems mapping, and empowering program decisions through data-driven insights. Kelly has held various roles within the organization, such as Community Resource Specialist, Contact Centre Coordinator, and Midnight Crisis Line Worker, providing crisis intervention and maintaining a community resource database. In 2024, Shania served as an Eric Newell Intern at Ditchley Foundation, conducting research and engaging with leaders on global issues. Prior experience also includes support roles at Kerby Rotary Shelter and Epilepsy Association of Calgary. Shania holds a Master of Arts in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mount Royal University, along with a Diploma in Social Work from the same institution.
