Jorien Knipping

Jorien Knipping has worked for a variety of companies since 2012. In 2012, they were the Commissioner Extern for Exchange committee iCom at W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens', where they organized an exchange with the University of Krakow, Poland, and coordinated a ski trip for 50 students. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Computer Science Teacher at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and as a Projectmanager at Helios Solutions, where they consulted customers in the user experience and technical possibilities of their applications, and coordinated developers to create e-commerce and mobile applications for companies in Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland from different industries. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Graduate Student at NAG (Numerical Algorithms Group). From 2019 to 2022, they were a SAP and POS integration architect and POS integration consultant at GK Software SE, and is currently Head of Carrier Operations and Technical Product Manager at Distribusion Technologies.

Jorien Knipping obtained a Gymnasium from Haags Montessori Lyceum from 2006 to 2012. Jorien then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they also obtained a Minor in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology. Subsequently, they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering from Delft University of Technology from 2016 to 2018, and a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin from 2016 to 2018.
