Mark Parsons has a long history of work experience in the technology industry, beginning in 1987. Mark started as a Software Developer at Aero Computer Systems, then moved on to Lead Software Developer at TradeNet in 1989. In 1992, they became Systems Manager at Fidelity Investments, and then in 1995 they served as both Independent Consultant - Systems Architect at Fleet Bank and Director of Engineering and Lead Architect at Replica Corp. In 1996, they worked as an Independent Consultant - Systems Architect at Fidelity Investments, Computer Science Teacher - Client / Server Technology at Clark University, and Independent Consultant - Big Data Performance Specialist at Sun Microsystems. Finally, in 1997, they became Cofounder and Microsoft Technologies Practice Manager at Distributed Logic Corp.

Mark Parsons attended Saugus High School from 1980 to 1983, and then attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1983 to 1987, where they studied Computer Science.
