Miranda Helms is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in various management and coordination roles within health organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager at District 4 Public Health since July 2021, Miranda oversees critical programs related to public health accreditation, chronic disease prevention, community health, emergency preparedness, and quality improvement. Previous positions include Quality Improvement and Accreditation Coordinator at the Public Health Accreditation Board and Performance Improvement Manager for the Georgia Department of Public Health. Miranda has also held roles in emergency preparedness and quality assurance within multiple health districts. Education includes a Bachelor of Business and Information Technology in Management from Middle Georgia State University and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the University of Georgia.
