Sonia Storck

Community Coach & Systems Navigator, Empowerment Project at District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH)

Sonia Storck is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community advocacy, education, and grassroots organizing. Currently serving as a Community Coach and Systems Navigator at the District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH) since October 2023, Sonia previously worked as a Counselor at Outright Vermont and held positions with The Wanda Alston Foundation as an Outreach Advocate and House Monitor. Sonia's campaign experience includes organizing for the Electrification Coalition, where efforts led to significant grassroots support for vehicle electrification, and working as a Field Organizer for Warren for President, managing a team of volunteers. Additional roles include creating environmental education programs as an intern with Gateway to the Great Outdoors, serving as a Teacher Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis Nursery School, and leading the Washington University in St. Louis Outing Club as President. Sonia holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis, where involvement included research with the St. Louis LGBTQ History Project and facilitating outdoor experiences at Camp Waukeela Inc.
